Since the changeset is large, didn't create individual commits per author due to
the amount of possible rebase work

Idea of this is to allow scripts to lookup the contributor name/email by GitHub
username. This is useful in particular for adding appropriate "Reviewed-by"s
for each GitHub style "review".

Over time, some entries were unnecessarily complicated.
Entries were sometimes of the form :
Canonical name <canonical@email> first other name <other@mail1>
Canonical name <canonical@email> second other name <other@mail1>
Canonical name <canonical@email> OOops my mailer is wrongly configured <other@mail1>
...
This can be simplified like this :
Canonical name <canonical@email>
Canonical name <canonical@email> <other@mail1>
The added benefit is that we're now exempt of adding a line in .mailmap every time an author make a typo. That will save us time.
Also for name normalisation, a single entry Canonical name <complicated@email> is often enough.

Point his addresses at Red Hat now, but revert the Inktank->Redhat mappings
so we have more historical accuracy.

In .mailmap, an individual may be represented by multiple mails which
may reflect an organization affiliation change that needs to be
preserved to find out which organization sponsored which commit.
The .peoplemap file aggregates these mails to show a single line for
each person
