Add auxiliary driver to support Nuvoton Arbel BMC NPCM8XX contains an
integrated clock controller which generates and supplies clocks to all
modules within the BMC.
The NPCM8xx clock controller is created using the auxiliary device
framework and set up in the npcm reset driver since the NPCM8xx clock is
using the same register region.

Add Mobileye EyeQ5, EyeQ6L and EyeQ6H clock controller driver. It is
both a platform driver and a hook onto of_clk_init() used for clocks
required early (GIC timer, UARTs).
For some compatible, it is both at the same time. eqc_early_init()
initialises early PLLs and exposes its own clock provider. It marks
other clocks as deferred. eqc_probe() adds all remaining clocks using
another clock provider.
It exposes read-only PLLs derived from the main crystal on board.
It also exposes another type of clocks: divider clocks.
They always have even divisors and have one PLL as parent.
This driver also bears the responsability for optional reset and pinctrl
auxiliary devices. The match data attached to the devicetree node
compatible indicate if such devices should be created. They all get
passed a pointer to the start of the OLB region.

Some configurations want to enable CONFIG_KUNIT without enabling
CONFIG_OF_OVERLAY. The kunit overlay code already skips if
CONFIG_OF_OVERLAY isn't enabled, so these selects here aren't really
doing anything besides making it easier to run the tests without them
skipping. Remove the select and move the config setting to the
drivers/clk/.kunitconfig file so that the clk tests can be run with or
without CONFIG_OF_OVERLAY set to test either behavior.

Currently clk-gate tests for s390 fail as the tests create a pretend
clk-gate and use a "fake_reg" to emulate the expected behavior of the
clk_gate->reg. I added some debug statements to the driver and noticed
that the reg changes after initialization to -1, which is coming from an
error coming from zpci_load(). This is likely because the test is using
fake iomem and the s390 architecture likely isn't designed to handle
that. Turn off the clk-gate tests for s390 for now as there is no clear
work around for this problem as discussed in upstream conversation [1].

Pull clk updates from Stephen Boyd:
"I'm actually surprised this time. There aren't any new Qualcomm SoC
clk drivers. And there's zero diff in the core clk framework.
Instead we have new clk drivers for STM and Sophgo, with
Samsung^WGoogle in third for the diffstat because they introduced HSI0
and HSI2 clk drivers for Google's GS101 SoC (high speed interface
things like PCIe, UFS, and MMC).
Beyond those big diffs there's the usual updates to various clk
drivers for incorrect parent descriptions or mising
MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE()s, etc. Nothing in particular stands out as super
interesting here.
New Drivers:
- STM32MP257 SoC clk driver
- Airoha EN7581 SoC clk driver
- Sophgo CV1800B, CV1812H and SG2000 SoC clk driver
- Loongson-2k0500 and Loongson-2k2000 SoC clk driver
- Add HSI0 and HSI2 clock controllers for Google GS101
- Add i.MX95 BLK CTL clock driver
Updates:
- Allocate clk_ops dynamically for SCMI clk driver
- Add support in qcom RCG and RCG2 for multiple configurations for
the same frequency
- Use above support for IPQ8074 NSS port 5 and 6 clocks to resolve
issues
- Fix the Qualcomm APSS IPQ5018 PLL to fix boot failures of some
boards
- Cleanups and fixes for Qualcomm Stromer PLLs
- Reduce max CPU frequency on Qualcomm APSS IPQ5018
- Fix Kconfig dependencies of Qualcomm SM8650 GPU and SC8280XP camera
clk drivers
- Make Qualcomm MSM8998 Venus clocks functional
- Cleanup downstream remnants related to DisplayPort across Qualcomm
SM8450, SM6350, SM8550, and SM8650
- Reuse the Huayra APSS register map on Qualcomm MSM8996 CBF PLL
- Use a specific Qualcomm QCS404 compatible for the otherwise generic
HFPLL
- Remove Qualcomm SM8150 CPUSS AHB clk as it is unused
- Remove an unused field in the Qualcomm RPM clk driver
- Add missing MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE to Qualcomm MSM8917 and MSM8953
global clock controller drivers
- Allow choice of manual or firmware-driven control over PLLs, needed
to fully implement CPU clock controllers on Exynos850
- Correct PLL clock IDs on ExynosAutov9
- Propagate certain clock rates to allow setting proper SPI clock
rates on Google GS101
- Mark certain Google GS101 clocks critical

Since SOC_FOO should be deprecated from patch [1], and cleanup for other
SoCs is already in the mailing list [2,3,4], we remove the use of
SOC_CANAAN and introduced SOC_CANAAN_K210 for K210-specific drivers,
Thus, we replace its drivers depends on SOC_CANAAN_K210 and default select
when it has the symbol SOC_CANAAN_K210.

The TWL6032 has some clock outputs which are controlled like
fixed-voltage regulators, in some drivers for these chips
found in the wild, just the regulator api is abused for controlling
them, so simply use something similar to the regulator functions.
Due to a lack of hardware available for testing, leave out the
TWL6030-specific part of those functions.

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/clk/linux
Pull clk subsystem updates from Stephen Boyd:
"This pull request is full of clk driver changes. In fact, there aren't
any changes to the clk framework this time around. That's probably
because everyone was on vacation (yours truly included). We did lose a
couple clk drivers this time around because nobody was using those
devices. That skews the diffstat a bit, but either way, nothing looks
out of the ordinary here. The usual suspects are chugging along adding
support for more SoCs and fixing bugs.
If I had to choose, I'd say the theme for the past few months has been
"polish". There's quite a few patches that migrate to
devm_platform_ioremap_resource() in here. And there's more than a
handful of patches that move the NR_CLKS define from the DT binding
header to the driver. There's even patches that migrate drivers to use
clk_parent_data and clk_hw to describe clk tree topology. It seems
that the spring (summer?) cleaning bug got some folks, or the
semiconductor shortage finally hit the software side.
New Drivers:
- StarFive JH7110 SoC clock drivers
- Qualcomm IPQ5018 Global Clock Controller driver

On s390 systems (aka mainframes), it has classic channel devices for
networking and permanent storage that are currently even more common
than PCI devices. Hence it could have a fully functional s390 kernel
with CONFIG_PCI=n, then the relevant iomem mapping functions
[including ioremap(), devm_ioremap(), etc.] are not available.
Here let COMMON_CLK_FIXED_MMIO depend on HAS_IOMEM so that it won't
be built to cause below compiling error if PCI is unset:

embedded market, and they mark the first 64-bit product in a widely
used family of 32-bit Arm MCUs and SoCs.
The way into the kernel is completely different here: The team at ST
has a long history of working upstream with their STM32MP1 and other
SoCs, and they produced a complete port to arm64 together with the
initial announcement. Nuvoton also has multiple SoC product lines with
current or previous upstream support, but those are maintained by
third parties and are unrelated. The patch series from Nuvoton's Jacky
Huang had to go through many revisisions to get to this point and is
still missing a few drivers including the serial port for the moment.
The branch contains the devicetree files as well as all the code
changes, in order to have something that can be tested standalone"

The clock controller generates clocks for the whole chip, including
system clocks and all peripheral clocks. This driver support ma35d1
clock gating, divider, and individual PLL configuration.
There are 6 PLLs in ma35d1 SoC:
- CA-PLL for the two Cortex-A35 CPU clock
- SYS-PLL for system bus, which comes from the companion MCU
and cannot be programmed by clock controller.
- DDR-PLL for DDR
- EPLL for GMAC and GFX, Display, and VDEC IPs.
- VPLL for video output pixel clock
- APLL for SDHC, I2S audio, and other IPs.
CA-PLL has only one operation mode.
DDR-PLL, EPLL, VPLL, and APLL are advanced PLLs which have 3
operation modes: integer mode, fraction mode, and spread specturm mode.

Pull clk updates from Stephen Boyd:
"Nothing looks out of the ordinary in this batch of clk driver updates.
There are a couple patches to the core clk framework, but they're all
basically cleanups or debugging aids. The driver updates and new
additions are dominated in the diffstat by Qualcomm and MediaTek
drivers. Qualcomm gained a handful of new drivers for various SoCs,
and MediaTek gained a bunch of drivers for MT8188. The MediaTek
drivers are being modernized as well, so there are updates all over
that vendor's clk drivers. There's also a couple other new clk drivers
in here, for example the Starfive JH7110 SoC support is added.
Outside of the two major SoC vendors though, we have the usual
collection of non-critical fixes and cleanups to various clk drivers.
It's good to see that we're getting more cleanups and modernization
patches. Maybe one day we'll be able to properly split clk providers
from clk consumers.
Core:
- Print an informational message before disabling unused clks

This driver provides support for clock controller on Loongson-2 SoC,
the Loongson-2 SoC uses a 100MHz clock as the PLL reference clock,
there are five independent PLLs inside, each of which PLL can
provide up to three sets of frequency dependent clock outputs.

REGMAP is a hidden (not user visible) symbol. Users cannot set it
directly thru "make *config", so drivers should select it instead of
depending on it if they need it.
Consistently using "select" or "depends on" can also help reduce
Kconfig circular dependency issues.
Therefore, change the use of "depends on REGMAP" to "select REGMAP".

This driver manages Reset and Clock of STM32MP13 soc.
It uses a clk-stm32-core module to manage stm32 gate, mux and divider
for STM32MP13 and for new future soc.
All gates, muxes, dividers are identify by an index and information
are stored in array (register address, shift, with, flags...)
This is useful when we have two clocks with the same gate or
when one mux manages two output clocks.

This driver only registers fixed rate clocks, since the clocks are fully
initialized by the boot loader and should not be changed later, according

Pull clk updates from Stephen Boyd:
"There's one large change in the core clk framework here. We change how
clk_set_rate_range() works so that the frequency is re-evaulated each
time the rate is changed. Previously we wouldn't let clk providers see
a rate that was different if it was still within the range, which
could be bad for power if the clk could run slower when a range
expands. Now the clk provider can decide to do something differently
when the constraints change. This broke Nvidia's clk driver so we had
to wait for the fix for that to bake a little more in -next.
The rate range patch series also introduced a kunit suite for the clk
framework that we're going to extend in the next release. It already
made it easy to find corner cases in the rate range patches so I'm
excited to see it cover more clk code and increase our confidence in
core framework patches in the future. I also added a kunit test for
the basic clk gate code and that work will continue to cover more
basic clk types: muxes, dividers, etc.
Beyond the core code we have the usual set of clk driver updates and
additions. Qualcomm again dominates the diffstat here with lots more
SoCs being supported and i.MX follows afer that with a similar number
of SoCs gaining clk drivers. Beyond those large additions there's
drivers being modernized to use clk_parent_data so we can move away
from global string names for all the clks in an SoC. Finally there's
lots of little fixes all over the clk drivers for typos, warnings, and
missing clks that aren't critical and get batched up waiting for the
next merge window to open. Nothing super big stands out in the driver
pile. Full details are below.
